Toronto Film Society One of North America's oldest surviving film societies. Specializes in classic Hollywood and British film from the 1930s to 1960s. On the 1st weekend in August they travel to Rochester NY for "Raiding the Vaults” a 35mm festival of silent and sound features and shorts, some newly restored from the Eastman House Archives.

Toronto Theatre Organ Society They saved and restored the Shea’s magnificent Wurlitzer Theatre Organ and put on some great silent film screenings accompanied by some of North America’s finest performers.
